The Cape Overberg is the region between the eastern side of False Bay and the Garden Route. Some of the major towns include Hermanus, Caledon, Bredasdorp, Grabouw and Swellendam. The Cape Overberg is also home to Cape Agulhas and the southern tip of Africa.

The Cape Overberg is best known for is mountain vistas and stunning coastline. From the Whale Trail in Hermanus which skirts the cliffs overlooking the sea, to the brilliant white-sand stretches around Struis Bay, Witsand and Still Bay.

The Cape Overberg is also home to De Hoop Nature Reserve which has been part of the ongoing effort to revive the population of Cape Mountain Zebras.

Hermanus is a beautiful coastal village that has boomed into a large centre in recent years. Complete will amenities like shopping malls, schools and sports fascilities, Hermanus is becoming a very popular destination for people wanting to leave the city life of Cape Town.

For adventurers, there is no end to the mountain and coastal trails to be explored on foot or by mountain bike. The ocean is alive with sea life from massive Southern Right Whales to dolphins, penguins and seals, and there are a few notable surf spots in and around the town.
